What Are Contextual Ads?

Zerocost serves contextual ads — advertisements matched to the topic and category of the app you're using, not your personal browsing history, search queries, or behavior on other websites.

No Tracking Cookies

We do not use cookies, browser fingerprinting, or any cross-site tracking technology. Your activity on other websites or apps is never used for ad targeting.

Ad Formats

Zerocost supports four non-intrusive ad formats:

• Video: A small, dismissible video player that stays in the corner of the screen.
• Text: A compact contextual text placement.
• Image: A native-looking card integrated into the app's content feed.
• Inline Text: A subtle text-based ad placed inline with content.

Advertiser Categories

Ads shown through Zerocost come from vetted advertisers in categories such as developer tools, SaaS products, and AI/ML products. We do not serve ads for gambling, adult content, or other sensitive categories.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of ads at any time:

• Toggle Ads off in the Zerocost consent popup when it appears
• Look for a "Privacy Settings" entry in the app's settings to re-open the consent panel

No Impact on Functionality

Declining ads does not affect app functionality. The app will continue to work exactly the same way.
