LLM Conversation Data

If the app you use is an AI tool (like an AI chatbot — e.g., legal-tech AI), we may collect anonymized LLM conversation data. AI labs and companies looking to improve domain-specific LLM models purchase this data.

  • Anonymized prompts and responses

  • All PII scrubbed client-side before transmission

Usage Data

  • Interaction events (clicks, taps, scrolls)
  • Feature usage frequency
  • Session duration
  • Navigation paths within the app

What We Do Not Collect

  • Names, email addresses, or passwords
  • Typed text or form field content
  • Personal identifiers of any kind
  • Financial information

Anonymization

All data goes through client-side PII scrubbing before transmission. We further apply differential privacy techniques before any data is stored or made available to buyers.

Who Buys This Data?

Anonymized usage data and LLM conversation data are purchased by AI labs and companies building AI products — for model training, analytics, and product research.

Data Retention

Usage data and LLM conversation data are retained for a maximum of 24 months, after which it is permanently deleted.

Opting Out & Data Control

Because all data is anonymized on your device before transmission, there is no individual record to locate or delete — the data we store is already stripped of any personal identifiers. However, you have full control over future collection:

  • Revoke consent immediately — open the Privacy Settings panel in any app using Zerocost and toggle off "Usage Data" or "LLM Conversations."
  • Opt-out takes effect instantly. No data will be collected after you opt out.
  • Your opt-out preference is saved per device and per app.

Our Approach to Privacy

We design our data practices with privacy in mind. Data collection requires your explicit opt-in consent before any data is collected. You can withdraw that consent at any time and data collection stops immediately. We do not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information through our SDK.
